Affecting: Xantia BX, C15, C5, Multipla, Tipo, Tempra, Brava, Bravo, Marea, Coupe, Barchetta, Punto, 145, 146, 155, GTV, Spider,Cinquecento & Seicento

If you are experiencing squeaks, rattles and things that go bump, then this is probably due to worn trailing arm bushes or bearings. The rear arm pivots on two bushes and is held in by a chuffin' great bolt. The bushes or bearings wear allowing excessive movement at the pivot points. Simple cure, get yourself a bush or bearing repair kit. they will come with all the appropriate bits to do the job. For all of the vehicles listed below it is very rare that damage will have been sustained that cannot be rectified by the kit. All kits come with everything you need including bearings and seals where appropriate. The Cinquecento and Seicento simply have four big bushes, but these will require pressing in. Alternatively Powerflex bushes can be hand fitted without the need for any industrial equipment.
