Alfa Romeo Guide

Searching the Alfa Romeo Database

There are many ways to search our database. The most simple is clearly to enter a short description of the item. For example by entering "Engine Mount" you will probably be deluged with every engine mounting we hold. Simply try "Engine mount Punto 1.2" that should narrow the delivered result to something more manageable. If of course if you are in posession of 'Engine number' details for example  try entering "Engine mount 176B1000". That should bring up pretty much exactly what you are looking for.

On most Fiats and Alfas you will normally find your chassis number stamped into the panelwork under the bonnet or on some vehicles on the boot floor, or on an embossed alloy plate rivetted to the front panel. Alternatively, latter day vehicles have a small window in the dash through which the chassis number can be viewed from outside of the vehicle. The chassis number is made up of a series of a model identifier plus a serial number. The model is denoted by the 3 digits immedietely after ZFA/ZAR. For example ZFA17600001234567 indicates a Mk1 Punto whereas ZAR93200001234567 is for the Alfa 156.

Engine numbers are a little harder to locate as they are generally stamped into the engine block somewhere. If you have your vehicle V5 (log book) it should be recorded there.

Other methods include searching with a Fiat or Alfa OE part number or just having a random browse through the catagories.

Due to the complexity of identifying some parts for Fiat or Alfa rather than having a stab at it please drop us a line or give us a call and we will gladly pin it down for you. We can identify most parts by use of your registration number.
